Villu Songs Review

Well, Finally Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Villu movie songs have released . The music is by Devi Sri Prasad. The following are the songs :-

1)Are You Crazy

Funny Song....Well one thing is for sure. You'll go crazy after hearing this song. The song is quite short . Nayanthara blasts Vijay in this song . I hope Tamil Nadu ppl do not shout at Vijay in the same way after movie release :-)

2)Dheemthanaka Thillana

This song is kinda ok.Its actually a tamil remake of a Hit song from the telugu movie Ready. The beats in the song are similar to that of "En chella peru apple" song from Pokiri. Sounds like an item number.

3)Hey Rama Rama

Mostly the Intro-kuthu song of Vijay. But the song lyrics are comedy. "Villu na soin soin, Villu na sarr sarr !!" only induces laughter. Lyrics could have been better. Song is ok but not upto the mark when compared to previous Vijay Intro songs. Kovai Sarala makes a comeback (in singing ???? ).

4)Jalsa

Remake of the title song from the movie Jalsa ( Pawan kalyan's). Song sounds good. Lyrics aren't as powerful as that of Pawan Kalyan's Jalsa. But with Vijay's dance talent this song has very good chance of becoming a hit song.

5)Nee Kobapattal

Slow melodious song. Music is good. But again lyrics are little comedy. Hope the visuals match the song :)

6)Vada Mappiley

Typical Vijay song. Lyrics are rhyming . Vadivelu has lend his voice in this song so this is also a comedy song( I mean visuals will have to be comical. :-))

7)Daddy Mummy

Yet another song with comical lyrics. Its remake of Hit song from the movie shankar dada zindabad (Chiranjeevi's). Hmm I wonder who would have told the music director to include hit songs of other movies. Either the music director is very desperate or someone doesn't wants the film to flop :-)

8)Jalsa Remix

Its the faster version of Jalsa song. Nothing much to say. It can make a good song in discos for the new year.

So with Eight songs of which 3 are remakes and 1 remix , the director has given a decent album. Will the songs be a hit?? Jalsa has a good chance. For the rest only time will tell. :-)
